can i use the graph tool to record a period of wave for variable? the sample rate is about 10k

for example, record the variable "sample", do i need to use array to hold the value of this sample or just enlarge the buffer

Please be aware of how "sampling rate" is used with the CCS graph:

https://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/documents/users_guide/ccs_debug-graphs.html#sampling-rate-hz

It does not mean that the graph is reading a variable at the rate. That value is used to calculate the data that is displayed on the graph when refreshed.

Are you looking to log a data value at 10K Hz?

the wave was just a portion of sample data, graph tool just displayed it as set, so the data array is prerequisite, i need acquire the whole data first and then display it, it is not a realtime wave like a scope.
