Dear TI Support Team,  

I hope this message finds you well.  

I am currently working with the CC2451 controller but have encountered an issue. This controller is not being recognized or listed in Code Composer Studio or UniFlash. I would like to request your guidance on the following:  

1. How can I set up the development environment for the CC2451?  

2. Are there specific tools, software, or steps required to program this controller?  

3. Any related documentation or resources that could help me proceed further.  

Your assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if additional information is required from my end.

    1. For the CC2451 we need to use IAR instead of CCS to develop the program for the device.

    2. SmartRF flash programmer (software) and CC debugger (hardware) are needed.

    3. CC2541 data sheet, product information and support | TI.com look at the software development and hardware develop section.

                Thank you for your response . 

                 I have one more doubt , can I use xds110 debugger instead of cc debugger for cc2541. and give me steps how to program and example code on Bluetooth if it is possible

                 I checked in IAR also but this controller is not being recognized or listed for this attached one screenshot also.

                 so please let me how to develop the program for the device.

    - You will need to use the CC-DEBUGGER Debug probe | TI.com as XDS110 is not supported on the CC2541, and follow the following guide for help flashing the device, SmartRF Flash Programmer User Manual (Rev. G).

    - When installing IAR you need a version of IAR that specifically supports the CC2541 device, and a set of examples to migrate from too I think; I needed to get IAR 8051 10.40.1, and the examples to migrate from are found on the CC2541 software support page (unzip the files, import them into the IAR workspace and migrate them when IAR asks you to).
