I ran some stress test using the example zc_thermostat_sink (sdk version: 3.40, 4.40 and 7.10) and the firmware does not receive or send packets after a while, receives approximately 1100 packages.

With the sdk 3.40 I received 1171 packages.

With the sdk 4.40 I received 1236 packages.

With the sdk 7.10 I received 1263 packages.

That was my test:

- 1 launchpad with the sink firmware;

- 1 launchpad with the gpd_temperaturesensor firmware.

Execute the commissioning procedure normally, after more or less 1100 A0 packages (attribute reporting) receives from the sensor, the sink does not receive or send packages anymore.

The same behavior can be seen in the capture in attached.

The first capture (error_radio) was using the sdk 3.40 and the second one was using the sdk 7.10.

I'm having issues viewing the log in my WireShark...in the meantime:

Does this mean the GPSink is unable to receive from any Zigbee device? And that it cannot transmit any packets after the issue occurs?

Hi Cristiane,

I've reproduced the issue on my end.

I made some modifications to quicken the issue, by reducing GPD_REPORT_TEMP_DELAY to 100 (100msec).

With this change, the zc_thermostat_sink seems to hang after ~1500 reports from gpd_temperaturesensor.

After connecting debugger to sink, I see it hanging here:

I'll continue investigating and likely file a report with our Zigbee RnD team.

The file dgp_stub.c is part of the Zigbee library and not in the SDK, so I've filed a report with our Zigbee RnD team for further investigation.

Will provide an update with 5 business days.

Thank you for your patience. The Software R&D Team has proposed a solution which I've verified resolves the issue on my setup. Please make the following one-parameter change to gp_UpdateProxyTbl at the end of gp_sinkAddProxyEntry:

//gp_UpdateProxyTbl( newProxyEntry, TRUE, FALSE );
// options = 0x08 per spec to add sink
