Just further confirm if this J3 is physically connected:
In Figure 70 on page 56 of 'AFE4400 and AFE4490 Development Guide', it seems that J3 is connected to the AFE.
But in Table 9 on page 47 of this document, J3 is surely labeld as 'footprint only, non-BOM'.

So I am also confused if I can buy 'Tag-Connect for firmware programmin'. Hope you experts can help to check this.

Qi,

J3 is footprint only because you only need the contacts for the tag connect connector. When you have the connector you can connect to J3 footprint. You will need to purchase the connector if you want debugging capabilities.

Yes, you just need the .txt file after your build. And browse to that location when you want to change the FW.
