I have a Stratix II FPGA development board that has two connectors for TI-EVM daughter cards. The connectors are labelled 'TI-EVM/FPDP' in the Altera documentation. I would like to know if this means I can connect the digital side of any of the ADC and DAC evaluation kits from TI.
I am particularly interested in the DAC5682z EVM , which has LVDS inputs. In the documentaiton on the TI website the corresponding connector type is termed 'semtek.' Can I connect this demo kit to my FPGA demo board with one of the TI-EVM connectors?

Assuming you are talking about the DK-DSP-2S60N DSP Development Kit, Stratix II Edition, this is designed to connect to a TI DSP EVM board with the TI-EVM/FPDP connectors. An example would be something like the TMS320C6711 DSK.
Thanks for the response. That is the kit I am refereing to.
To confirm, I can only use the connectors for a TI DSP EVM board, but not a TI EVM board that has only DAC's and some analog components? (I was hoping to use better DAC's than the ones that came with the Altera development kit).
