Hi Tony,
What's the load impedance?
For 4ohm load, according to the Rson and Rtrace, the Vpp of the output should be 5.5V for 3W.
The Vpp of the output is approximately 5.7 times (with BD mode) and 11.4 times (with 1SPW mode) the voltage at the PLIMIT pin.
So the voltage at the PLIMIT pin should be 0.965V
Regards,
Derek
Hi Derek ,
Thanks for your quick reply .
The load impedance is 8 ohm , so the VPP of output should be 7.3V
7.3/5.7= 1.28V , the two resistors(10.2K and 2.2K) can be selected to divide the GVDD volatge to make the voltage on the PLIMIT around 1.28V .-am I right ?
Thanks
Tony
Hi Tony,
That's ok.
You should consider the trace loss, you can tune the value on EVM board or on your board.

Derek
