Code Composer Studio did not uninstall cleanly.
Here is my setup:
Dell Latitude E6410
Microsoft Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 3
Code Composer Studio Version 5.1.0.09000
This is what I see after an attempted uninstall from Start --> Control Panel --> Add or Rmove Programs --> Remove button from Code Composer Studio v5 row item
During the uninstall, the progress bar did not show any progress. It was empty until this window was replaced by one showing that the uninstallation had finished.
Hi Jason,
yes, this is something I have seen myself many times.
I can certainly give the feedback but I don not think there is a work around at the moment.
Best Regards,
Lisa
Here are the additional steps I've done after the conventional uninstallation I described above:
Screenshots of these steps are in the attached zip file.
Hi Jason,
yes even our team tends to do quite a manual uninstall at times.
Best Regards,
Lisa
The uninstallation plus added steps I described above was successful. My measurement of success is the next version of Code Composer Studio (Version 5.1.1.00028) has successfully installed.

This thread couldn't have been more timely for me..nonetheless, I wasn't able to find any subkey (folder) name code composer studio under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE --> SOFTWARE --> Microsoft --> Windows --> CurrentVersion --> Uninstall . My system is a windows 7 x64 PC.
Whats ur take on this?

I don't have a clear answer for you since I'm not working with Windows 7 yet. Here is an article that is specific to Windows 7 registry keys.
How To Delete Registry Keys in Windows 7
For some installations, it's not clear by the folder name what the key is for. In this case, you need to look at the field called, "DisplayName," to find what you're looking for. Here's an example.

Code Composer Studio did uninstall cleanly.
Here is my setup:
Dell Latitude E6410
Microsoft Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 3
Code Composer Studio Version 5.1.1.00031 (upgraded from 5.1.1.00028 which was a fresh installation)
Start --> Control Panel --> Add or Rmove Programs --> Remove button from Code Composer Studio v5 row item
The only anomoly I noticed this time was a mismatch on the published version of what was supposed to be CCS Version 5.1.1.00031.
5.1.1.00031 from CCS > Help > About
5.1.1.00028 from Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > "Click here for support information" on CCSv5 row
