F28xx On-Chip flash programmer

What is the full version number of your CCS install? You may need to install a service release to get the flash programmer for your device:

Yes you are correct. CCSv3 is trying to load your program to flash and doesn't know how to flash to it (CCSv4 and v5 can handle it automatically).

My CCS Version is: 3.3.81.11

There is the file 'C:\CCStudio_v3.3\plugins\Flash28xx\Flash28xx.ocx' but i don't know how to install it....and it is not shown in the Tools menu of CCS

Please check component manager (C:\CCStudio_v3.3\cc\bin\comp_mgr.exe) and see if it is enabled there:

As I already mentioned in my first post:

I looked in the Component Manager an there is only an entry for the F24xx Flash Programmer. This item is checked!

The item for my device, the F28xx Flash programmer, is not shown in the Component Manager.

Although the F24xx Flash Programmer is checked in my Component Manager, it is not shown in the Tools menu of CCS.

I tried this, but I get the error message:

"The module 'C:\CCStudio_v3.3\plugins\Flash28xx\Flash28xx.ocx' was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with the error code 0x80040200"

I have no idea what that means.

...and I have local admin rights

Excellent!  You have solved my problems,too!!!!  First, I tried to enable the .exe, but it failed, then  I  register the .ocx  as you told, then it is successful!
