Finding memory usage using MAP file

Map files are discussed a bit in section 7.4.15 of the assembly language user's guide:

Note that there is also a utility call cg_xml where you can generate reports like size by section type and so forth:

If you are using an MSP430, you will also be notified of the size of both code and data in CCS after download
