A C6678 System Reset problem( with CCSv5.1 )

      Hi,all.

      I met a problem when i did system reset  using the button in the debug panel to my  board which had 4 C6678 chips on it ,

the error information is shown in the above figure, i want to do a system reset before i load another image in to DSPs. The Development environment  

is listed here:

       1:CCSv5.1

       2;SEED XDS560V2 JTAG Emulator

    Another question is about the difference between CPU reset and System reset .the error information didn't happen when i did a CPU Reset,

i don't know why ,can anyone help ?

    Jason,

    You have to update your CCS to a newer version, for example, the CCS5.3.x. There is a CCS work-around for the system reset problem seen with 6678 devices, which you are seeing.

    Regarding to the difference between CPU reset and system reset. The CPU reset is a local reset to individual CPU (including some local resources), but system reset is global - applied to most of IPs and CPUs of the devices. The CCS work-around is for the system reset, since the CPU local reset function is working appropriately.
