Problems with Parallel Port and CCS4

Hi Jack,

Are you using the correct connection? There is a separate special connection for using the onboard Parallel Port emulator on the eZdsp2812.

Yes, I tried  this way but the connection to target doesn´t function either. Do you have any other ideas?

Try taking a look at what your parallel port setting are (ECP, EPP, etc) and set it to a different setting. You can usually change the setting in your PC BIOS settings.

 I`ll try all settings maybe something works. I`ll report tomorrow.

Ok, I tried almost every setting for parallel port in the BIOS ( EPP,ECP,SPP) at port adress 0x378/IRQ7 but with the SDKonfig-tool I just can't find a parallel port.

 Connection is only via parallel port cable...do I need any additional drivers or emulators.
