Missing identifiers when using CGT7.3

One of my customer is seeing this message when using CGT7.3. Any ideas?

"/vobs/odo_tools/320c60/linux/include/stddef.h", line 87: remark #195-D: zero
used for undefined preprocessing identifier
(__STDC_VERSION__ >= 199901L || !__TI_STRICT_ANSI_MODE__)

That message is almost always harmless. It means that the compiler is doing exactly what the C standard requires it to do, but the compiler is letting you know this is happening, in case it was unintentional that the macro is undefined.

I'm having trouble reproducing this remark message for stddef.h; exactly what version of C6000 CGT 7.3 are you using? What are your command-line options?

They are using CCSv5.3 GA.

I cannot reproduce this. I need a test case. Please be sure to include the command-line options.

I found out that this warning comes only with .cpp files. Here is a simple program that I got.

make a file a.cpp with the following content:

#include <stddef.h>

int main(void)
{
return 2;
}

Then compile with the following flags:

cl6x a.cpp -pdv -pdr
