MISRA Rule misreporting

Hi,

We are using CCSv5 with the C28x compiler V6.0.2 and are experiencing some MISRA rule violations (6.4 and 10.1) which appear to be misreported (according to MISRA, see links below).

I thought it better to provide you with links to my MISRA forum posts which also provide official MISRA responses; if this is a problem please let me know and I will post the details in this forum.

    Richard,

    I created 2 bug reports - one for misreporting of Misra 6.4 and the other for Misra 10.1. The bug #s are SDSCM00042434 and SDSCM00042435 and you may track their status using the SDOWP link in my signature.
