Hello everyone,
I'd like to know why it's not possible to use the #pragma SET_DATA_SECTION in a _Pragma macro ?
I get the error #1288
it's a bit annoying for code portability.

Clement

Please accept my apologies. I should have been more careful.
The C6000 compiler does support the SET_DATA_SECTION pragma. For some reason, it does not accept it from within a _Pragma operator. I filed SDSCM00049509 in the SDOWP system to have that investigated. Feel free to follow it with the SDOWP link below in my signature.
There were some earlier posts in this thread where I was in error. I deleted them. Of course I'm a bit embarrassed by them. Mostly, though, I don't want others to come across them in a search and, in haste similar to me, think that they are correct.
Thanks and regards,
-George
It's ok for the mistake.
Feel free to delete my 2nd post, for me the permission is denied.
Thanks for the problem report and investigation.
I'll monitor this thread by email for developments on this subject.
