PAN1720 BT module

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2540

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can answer some (maybe all) of the questions below? This is for my customer so any help would be appreciated - I know some of these are module specific but some are based on the CC2540

Cheers

I am not using the USB, so I am leaving the USB_N & USB_P not connected per the datasheet.  I was wondering about the DVDD_USB (USB power).  Do I leave that not connected or do I still nee to provide power to this pin?

Also for the UART interface, I am assuming E6 is the RX line on the PAN1720, so I am connecting it to the TX line on our microprocessor end.  In other words; this is a input pin on the PAN1720; is that right?  The same question goes for F7; it is an output on the PAN1720, right?

I am not using the CTS/RTS control lines (pins F5 & F8).  How should I connect them?

As you can tell, I am using the UART on P0.  SHould I be interfacing to a different UART port?  Is there there any preferences.

I am not using any other interfaces, so besides pins E6, F7, power, ground I only have a connection to A3 (Reset\).  Do I need to connect to any other pins?

I would be great to get a reference design with the PAN1720 inerface to a standard 2 pin UART from a micro.
