Trying to install the CC2540 SDK but the usb CDC serial port won't install due to the missing signature.
Did not succeed trying to disable the Windows 8 signature control.
Any chance to have an update of the CDC serial port?

I realize that this is an old post...but I am having this problem.
So far I have been using a Windows 7 PC with btool for debugging my ble profile development. This worked fine for me because I used he Windows 7 PC to debug and used a Windows 8 PC for development (I have IAR 8.11 and SmartRF installed there).
I want to start using my Windows 8 PC for debugging and I find that I an unable to install the driver (for the CC2540 USB Dongle) in Windows 8.
Any pointers to a signed driver?

I tried both methods of disabling the Windows 8 signature requirement at https://freevps.us/thread-6845.html
Although both methods proceeded smoothly, when I tried to install the TI dongle, I still received the message about it not having a valid INF signature. I know that the Windows 8 procedures happened correctly because now I have that "Test Mode" watermark on my Windows 8 screen.
This would seem like a serious problem since new Windows machines come with WIndows 8. I notice there has not been a response from TI. Can't we get some drivers that are signed correctly for Windows 8.

I agree that TI should be signing drivers now since that has been a 'requirement' since Vista was released.
I just purchased the ez430 Chronos watch and the driver INF, modified April 10, 2013, isn't signed, so I can't use it without jumping through unnecessary hoops.
