mDNS not working

hello

we are using the MSP430FR5739 kit with Basic wifi application running on it ,first we are doing smart config ,after connecting to the network we are sending "0b" from UART so to advertise itself but,e are not able to find it using any bonjour or zeroconfig application in android,also not able to capture anything in Wireshark,can someone Help me on this issue.

Hi Thilak,

May be you can try with the apps specified in the below link. For example, Bonjour Browser on Android.

I tried it on my CC3000 device (1.11 host driver). It does work for me.

- Connect the CC3000 and the smart phone to the same AP.

- Start the 'Bonjour Browser' app on Android phone. And click on 'local.' The phone scans and parses response from CC3000.

Please note, the mDns advertisement packets are sent every 30 seconds.
