Telnet-like Ethernet communication with Concerto M35

For Concerto M35 ControlCard, TI provides three nice Ethernet examples.

But, all of them are rather high level, use HTML and need a browser to communicate with.

Does TI or anybody has an example of simple string-based Ethernet communication, like telnet?

The ideal example will accept strings via RJ-45 and send echo back to terminal or, better, to UART, and backwards from UART to terminal.

Or maybe someone points to the right direction to look?
