MOTORWARE: Motorware.exe for Motorware v18

Part Number: MOTORWARE

Hi there,

I have recently encountered an issue with Motorware v18 resource explorer. After the installation of the software, I'm not able to load Motorware.exe as the explorer does not seem to work properly as the figure shows. I have gone through the forum where there were several people who reported the same issue and I have tried all the solutions proposed there, including uninstall and reinstall the software and delete the .metadata folder within eclipse/workspace directory, neither of them worked. I'm wondering if there's something else that I have missed that might solve this problem? By the way, I have also tried importing the entire Motorware package into Code Composer Studio but unfortunately the tree view did not show up as expected.

Just in case, I use Windows 7 Professional for my computer.

Your help is very much appreciated. Thank you all in advance.

Mark

  • Just to clarify, you've tried adding the Motorware root folder to the Resource Explorer CCS pane from C:/ti/motorware without success as well?

  • Hello,

If there are no additional questions at this time, I will close the thread. Please feel free to create a new thread if necessary.

  • Hi Sean,

I'm really sorry for not getting back to you early on. My issue with not being able to use motorware explorer has been sorted. By that I mean I have managed to find all the documents I need from the internet as the explorer did not work after I tried all the solutions proposed by others on the forum. And for the question you asked last time, I managed to import and build the projects on Code Composer Studio and the GUI composer was working fine after the .out file generated was moved into the specified file folder. Also my motor was running as expected.

Many thanks for answering my question and I'll make a new thread next time.
