Hi,

I want to use upp module communicating with FPGA,but I need to transmit 8bytes per time.I understand the DMA always writes data in bursts of 64byte,whether I need to write 56bytes invalid data to meet this request or not?reading as well?

Hi,
What do you mean by transmitting 8byte per time? Is that number of bytes in line or window? 64byte is just FIFO size to do the burst and that can have data for multiple lines in window. At the end of line (in window) , a DMA burst is done to get the final data so if BCNT * LCNT is small then 64byte then you'll have burst of that size.

Hi,
The total data I want to transmit is 8*8bit, a DMA burst number is 64*8bit,so whether I can not use the upp or not?

Sorry for late reply on this. uPP on this device was for very specific usecase and will not be supported on future C2000 devices so I would suggest to use some other interface.
