My design is a 2 series protection circuit. After connecting the power, short B+, P+, the interface can be read as shown in the screenshot, but I cannot write the DATA FLASH parameter. The DATA FLASH parameter is always the initial value.
For example, I want to set Min Blow Fuse Voltage as 4200mV,but in the screenshot, You can see that it is still the original 8000mV and it turns red!
Why? Is there any restriction on writing? But SEC1, SEC0 are 0, 1 should be unlocked。
Hello,
You will need to be in full access mode and unsealed to modify data flash parameters. SEC0 = 0 and SEC1 = 0.
Check the TRM section 10.1.27 ManufacturerAccess() 0x0032 Full Access Device to put the gauge in full access mode: https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/sluua79/sluua79.pdf?ts=1597856281084&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.ti.com%252Fproduct%252FBQ30Z554-R1
