BQ25892: Question regarding I2C

Hy,

I am trying to communicate with bq25892 using I2C protocol . and i m not able to read the register from that IC , when i debug the code after the first step of the sending the slave address. It does not get the acknowledgement from the slave side(IC side). the transfer is get aborted because of no acknowledgement. i am using the datasheet as reference of this particular IC

i have attached the screenshot of the oscilloscope which is showing the the timing diagram.

Are you using the right bq25892 slave address (6BH , i.e. 1101011B)? Thanks!

hello,

yes , I am using the same slave address for this IC that is 6BH, and its is returning back in the first step as well. will you please provide me any sample code which is verified by you for the communication with this IC using I2C.

Hello,
Thanks for the driver code.After taking this driver code as a reference we are still not able to communicate with the bq25892.We are using 6BH as a slave address but still bq25892 is not responding.

Have you tried communicating a bq25892 official EVM with BQStudio GUI using EV2300 or EV2400? The official bq25892 EVM works for sure. You may compare with your system and try to debug. Thanks!
