PGA460-Q1 Small Form Factor (SFF) Schematic and Layout Reference for Ultrasonic Modules

The PGA460Q1SFF is a small form factor solution showcasing single-sided PCB spacing and supporting component requirements for the PGA460-Q1 ultrasonic sensor signal conditioner. The small form factor solution is separated as two board variants: transformer driven and half-bridge driven. Both variants can be operated in either mono-static or bi-static transducer mode. A mono-static transducer mode utilizes a single transducer to both transmit and receive the ultrasonic echo. A bi-static transducer mode utilize two transducers, such that one is dedicated exclusively to transmitting the ultrasonic echo, and the other is dedicated exclusively to receiving the returning ultrasonic echo.
