I am following the CC2540 Mini development Kit User's Guide Chapter 3.1 and I have an error at the last step (figure 6) saying (in French)

=> Impossible d'installer ce matériel / Le matériel n'a pas été installé car l'assistant ne trouve pas le logiciel nécessaire

In other word "driver not installed"

I am using "BLE-CC254x-1.2.exe" that I installed before

Any Idea ?

Did I miss something ?

Microsoft Windows XP Professionnel Version 2002 - Service Pack 3

Install RF Studio and try again :)

In the software developer's guide there is a paragraph which indicates where the driver is found. Bye!

Hi,

Thks for your help but still not OK

Some progress as I don't have anymore the popup to recognize the Device ("Found New Hardware Wizard") when I plug the USD Dongle

But no specific COM Port created in the Device Manager for the TI CC2540 ("TI CC2540 Low-Power RF to USB CDC Serial Port (COMxx)")

Is the HostTestRelease firmware flashed on the USB dongle?

Simply re-flash it with the CC2540_USBdongle_HostTestRelease_All.hex (BLEv1.2) with the "Erase, Program & Verify" option in the Flash Programmer. The verify part will verify the image for you.
