We have a custom board on dm8148, which has this chip,(since TI has no releases after 2.6.37 for this we need to back port).

You seem to be having "ol_r8.a6.02" release while the script in the link that you mentioned builds "ol_r8.a9.14" release.
Can you please confirm if you have followed the build script? And also not modified it?

Yes, you are right, we are using the build tool files from  https://gforge.ti.com/gf/project/wilink8_files/frs/?action=FrsReleaseBrowse&frs_package_id=329

It was a recommendation from TI:

It also requires some build tool files (available here: https://gforge.ti.com/gf/project/wilink8_files/frs/?action=FrsReleaseBrowse&frs_package_id=329 )"

As I mentioned earlier, the build script from the link builds the "ol_r8.a9.14" release (Fw Rev: 8.9.0.0.17).
From your logs, you have "ol_r8.a6.02" (Fw Rev: 8.6.0.0.5).

So I think the build was not correct or you did not copy the correct kos/bin files...
