Hi,

I would like to know the pin assignment of the test port of the cc2541 mini dk keyfob. I did not find the reference design published on the ti web site. I'd like to figure out whether the I2c pins (scl & sda) are available.

Can you elaborate on all changes from the CC2540 keyfob to the CC2541 keyfob? Is it exactly the same except for the i2c changes? Are there other changes such as the voltage regulator, the antenna circuit components, etc? Is there any documentation yet? Thank you, Ed

SCL is pin 2, SDA is pin 4. The reference design should be available online soon.

Hi,

we have a new problem - our sensortag arrived, and it is PCB version 1.3,/ 1252 clearly not sufficiently equal to the reference design to use the RF part of the PCB layout in our new product. I would appreciate a way to get the new layout in a .pcb format as well as the matching schematic, compatible with Cadstar or some other layout package!

I appreciate your prompt reply. However, the sensortab 1.2 information (in particular the PCB layout RF section) appears to have differences from the 1.3 PCB on our sensortab. We had been encouraged to copy your PCB RF layout and thought the sensortab would be a good choice with the balun chip and fewer RF parts. If you can give us a better suggestion that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you,

Ed,

We are in the process of rectifying this. My understanding is that the 1.2 and 1.3 have the same layout. The difference is in the silk print. So you should be fine with the RF layout of 1.2.
