CC2511/CC2541 Compatability

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2541, CC2511

I'm working on implementing a receiver using a CC2541 for an existing transmitter that uses a CC2511 with the following parameters:

TX Freq's: 2,424,999,887 Hz, 2,449,993,677 Hz, 2,474,737,539 Hz, and 2477236919 Hz

Bandwidth: 334.7 kHz

Modulation: MSK

Data Rate: 49.987 kbps

Is it possible to set the CC2541 to a data rate that low?  Table 25-10 in the CC2541 user guide leads me to believe that only 250, 500, 1000, and 2000 kbps are supported.  Am I missing something?

  • You will not be able to receive this signal on the CC2541. It only supports the data rates you mentioned. Besides, the RF carrier frequencies would have been a problem as well, since CC2541 only supports whole MHz frequencies.
