    We will go through the above requirement and get back to you.

  • Check out this discussion which is in reference to the Tiva C and XDS200, but still will be relevant for the CC3200. The big issue with these 10 and 20 pins adapters is ensuring you counting correctly from pin 1, it actually alternates from side to side.....caught me out when I was trying to get this working, hence this post - e2e.ti.com/.../1094336

  • Thanks Glenn,

    I am going to connect JTAG with my CC3200 as per below, Please correct me.

    CC3200 JTAG XDS100v2 (10 Pin)

    TMS---------------------------------------------> PIN-2
    TCK----------------------------------------------> PIN-4
    TDO---------------------------------------------->PIN-6
    TDI------------------------------------------------>PIN-8
    nRESET------------------------------------------->PIN-10

    PIN-1 connect to Vcc 3.3V of board directly.
    PIN-3,5 and 9 connect to GND of board directly
    PIN-7 Left open.

    Waiting for your reply.

    Regards
    Bhavdipsinh
  • Hi Bhavdipsinh,

    Sorry to keep you waiting, I was looking for the documentation that came with my XDS200, but could not find it.

    You should have this documentation with your XDS100, so hopefully what you explained above matches everything.

    My suggestion is to give it a try, it will likely cause no harm if things are not correct. By the way, I suspect you only need to connect 1 ground.

    If you get this to work successfully, it would be really helpful for others if you could detail all your steps in a response to this forum thread.

    Thanks,
    Glenn.
