Hi,

Does anyone know how to setup IAR EW for Contiki development (ARM platform CC2650)?

Looks like the guys from Thingsquare (former contki creators) are using it now https://www.iar.com/about-us/newsroom/press/?releaseId=1129268

It will definitely save a lot of time on debugging.

As I know there is no related information to use IAR IDE to build/Debug Contiki. Maybe you can contact Thingsquare to see if they can provide this service.

Hi,

I have an answer from Thingsquare. As it is on a public facebook page, I can quote it:

"Thingsquare We have used IAR in customer projects to compile our Contiki-based firmware and the core Contiki code should be compatible with IAR. The CC2650 port was done by Texas Instruments, so you could probably check with them if they retain compatibility with IAR."

So following their advice, can I check with TI if "they retain compatibility with IAR" ?

We are planning a wiki with instructions for getting Contiki running in IAR Embedded Workbench. Plan is to have it up next week.

I think there should be another reason.

As I know, TI already has the port but not making it public. I wonder why.
