CC2564C: baseband test

Hi team,

Here's an issue from the customer may need your help:

The CC2564C is a dual-mode Bluetooth controller chip that includes RF, BB, LMP. While the documents now given for certification of CC2564C are all RF-based test. How is baseband tested per BB Test Specification document <BB,TS.p29.pdf>? And is there any related references?

Could you help check this case? Thanks.

Please direct the customer to refer to this documentation: 2311.CC256x Testing Guide - Texas Instruments Wiki.pdf

I believe they can use the "BT_RF_SIG_Mode" to test the device.

Hi Cherry,

It looks like baseband test falls into the BT SIG certification.

The CC2564C is certified as a Controller Subsystem with the BT SIG. See the declaration page here -> https://launchstudio.bluetooth.com/ListingDetails/139784#

If you scroll down on the page to the "Qualified Design" section, you can see the "View ICS Details" button. Clicking on that shows all the capabilities that our device supports, for which test evidence was submitted to the SIG showing that we conform/pass.

The customer should not try to get this certification themselves as they are able to leverage ours.
