Hi This is Lily who is FQE.

As below information, this unit has passed on ATE, Bench test and I released TNI report. 

I think it seems to be an implementation issue not a failed device issue.

So, We need to discuss with Eric who is application Engr and customer.

Please refer below information. Thanks.

1. Customer affected: Arrow / EMOTION

2. Failed at: Production

3. Fail temp: Room

4. Affected model name & application: Industrial

5. Failure rate & sample qty: 198 / 800

6. Failure symptom: This issue was occurred on in-line process of the customer.

The quantity of same LOT is 12,000pcs(6 reels). On board level, there was RS-232 communication error. On IC level, the failed unit's waveform(Pin8/9/11/13) was different from the good unit's waveform.

7. ATE retest : Pass

8. Bench test : No abnormality observed

    Lily,

    I am the engineer not Eric.

    From a quality perspective you have already gotten all the lab data. There was no anomaly detected in both bench or ATE. You don't have to do anything else from your side. Customer can reach out and talk to us - but the issue isn't our device - its fine. The source of the bad signal is on a different part - its not our devices issue.
