I would like to know the required specifications when using a crystal oscillator rather than a crystal resonator.

The crystal oscillator I am currently using has reached EOL and I am looking for an alternative.

Are there any specifications required for a crystal oscillator?

Possible alternatives:SG-8018CA 17MHz TJHPA(EPSON)

I'm concerned about the clock accuracy dropping from ±25ppm to ±50ppm.
Are there any required specifications for the DSP?

The PPM choice may have dependency on the peripherals that you have on board.

Do you use any peripherals that have a tight clock PPM accuracy?

For the DSP functionality, the 50 PPM should be usable.
