To the Sigma-Delta Experts:
I am experienced with the MSP430 line, but this is my first time using the SD16_A, or any sigma-delta modulator ADC.
There are a lot of dependencies and settings, for instance calculating settling time, configuring the digital filter, and deciding which bits of the output are the ones to use. The equations for calculating maximum sampling frequency and digital filter performance are pretty complicated. I was wondering if there's a tool or a spreadsheet to help figure these values out.
In my case, I am measuring battery voltage and temperature in real time, so several milliseconds of settling and conversion time is not a problem.
