CC2642R: Is it possible to erase CCFG and re-write during runtime?

Part Number: CC2642R

A customer wants to implement their own logic to erase the CCFG and write new content back during the persistent_app is running. The purpose is to update the CCFG content through OAD.

They would like to confirm if this is possible and if there is any risk to do this, would you please help confirm? Thanks.
