Hi All,

The below MACRO can be changed and what will be the maximum when configuring as a router?

#define OTA_MAX_MTU 32

This is defined in Common/zcl/zcl_ota.h

Hi Yasar,

There have been issues regarding older devices where ZMemError occurs with lengthened OTA data packets and rapid image block response rates: https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless-connectivity/zigbee-and-thread/f/158/t/819392

However, as noted in the same thread this problem is diminished with SIMPLELINK-CC13X2-26X2-SDK solutions. You can therefore evaluate using OTA_MAX_MTU of 64 or greater so long as you understand the limitation/restrictions and possible consequences.

Hi Ryan,

After changing the macro OTA_MAX_MTU to 64 also still 32 bytes only transmitted.

Hi Yasar,

Are you testing with zr_sw_ota_client and zc_ota_server on the SIMPLELINK-CC13X2-26X2-SDK v3.40? Make sure to change OTA_MAX_MTU on both firmware projects and re-program each device accordingly.

Hi Ryan,

Yes, I am testing zr_sw_ota_client(V 4.10) with the third party co ordinator. In the co ordinator MTU_SIZE has been set to 128

Hi Yasar,

Do you have a sniffer log to provide? Have you debugged the zr_sw_ota_client project's sendImageBlockReq function? I can't comment on the operation of a third party coordinator.

Hi Ryan,

OTA_MAX_MTU has been taken from SDK's "zcl_ota.h" instead of taking from Application's "zcl_ota.h"

After modifying in SDK's OTA_MAX_MTU, able to transfer 64 bytes per packet.
