Part Number: ADS7851 Hi there,
the figure and table on page 3 of the datasheet shows that:
pin 11 = SDO-A
pin 12 = SDO-B
whereas Figure 52 on page 28 (layout example) shows
Pin 11 = SDO-B
pin 12 = SDO-A
Which is correct? Thanks in advance…
Part Number: ADS7851 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI Hi Experts,
Our customer is looking for Pspice model for this part. The only available model on our site is for TINA-TI. I have instructed the customer how to import this model to Pspice…
Hello Daniel,
In order to properly communicate with the ADS7851 via SPI, I suggest looking closely at Figure 1 from the ADS7851 datasheet. This is the timing diagram and if you follow the timing requirements for CS, SCLK, and reading from SDO-A and…
Part Number: ADS7851 Hi,
I am using ADS7851 and noticed that in the datasheet the maximum input is 2* Vref or AVdd. I then noticed the VCM is spec'd very tight around 2.5V. If I need to make my common mode voltage 3.3V (or some other voltage other…
Hi Dan,
The MSB of the ADS7851 should be latched on the third SCLK. Thank you for pointing out the apparent discrepancy in Table 2. We'll get that fixed up ASAP!

Part Number: ADS7851 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS7054 , ADS7056 Hello team,
I'm working on a design that utilizes the ADS7851 and Beaglebone Black for data acquisition. I'm a bit unfamiliar with SPI communication so I am a little confused…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS7851 Hello,
I am developing a SDR receiver with ADS7851 in Altium Designer, but there is no CAD symbol (.bxl file) on ADS7851 page.
Can you prepare it? Or is there any chance to use CAD symbol of similar device…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS7851 , THS4521 Hi, I am developing a SDR receiver as my bachelor thesis. It is my first hardware project, so I got stuck on basics, probably.
Here is expected block scheme:
I will use a SDR concept, which contains…
Hello Bidault,
If you have a schematic or a block diagram of your system, try to see what the failed part may do. Then use the parts lookup, search for the 851 marking.
