Hi Given, I think there is a typo above about Iout. Please correct. We have several charger front end ICs like BQ24308 or BQ24380 or BQ24351 which could be interesting devices for this project but need the correct Iout to be specified to confirm.

Most any of our power controllers with dual output capability will provide the control. See attached document starting at page 50 with the dual output controllers on page 53 and 54 and choose what features you want.
