TI has not developed a Linux driver for BQ24780S, but we do have drivers available for some similar battery charger ICs, such as the BQ24735. You can use this as a starting point and port it over to the BQ24780S.

TI does not maintain Linux drivers for this device, but there is a third party site not affiliated with TI that has Linux drivers written for the SMBus version of the charger. That site also has the the I2C version of the previous generation…
