Part Number: BQ500215 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ51013BEVM-764 , BQ51025 Hi All,
I have made a prototype of BQ500215RGCT and BQ51025YFPT chipsets. It was planned for 10W proprietary wireless power to an isolated system.
I can get the power…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ51025 , BQ500215 Does TI's 10W receiver(bq51025) correspond to other 5W transmitter(Qi alliance)?
Is it non-recommend function?
Or, to begin with, does function not match?
Best regards,
Satoshi
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ51025 Hi
Now we used to BQ51025 EVM and will change to 10V output voltage.
We change to some resister on Schematic of EVM.
VIREG Setting = R12 10Kohm -> 6.8K ohm
VOREG Setting = R10 10Kohm -> 6.8Kohm
But…
Hi Bryan
You are describing a load dump or high to low load step, 20W load to 0W load. The TX will change operating point based on commands from the RX, but the commands are in the form of control error packets (CEP) and they are slow. RX will need…

A scope capture of the RECT pin on bq51025 would help, do you see anything on that pin that look odd?
Ram,
The bq500215 + bq51025 is a good solution for your application. You do need a charger. Check out the bq24172 as the charger. The bq51025 datasheet has a discussion in the application section for "Standalone 10-V Power Supply with 1-A Maximum Output…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ51025 We are designing a device that can be snapped in and out of a holder. The holder contains all the connectors but the device has no contacts or connectors. I want both power and data to be contactless.
For power…
Ramin,
The bq55221 is not a released device. The bq501210EVM User's Guide properly states: "supports output power up to 15 W when paired with a WPC v1.2 15-W receiver."
The text on the EVM web folder will be changed to reflect the correct text.

Hi,
The bq51025 (receiver) + bq500215 (transmitter) can deliver 10W. The highest output voltage is 10V so you would need a boost.
24V at 0.5A is 12W. Is this a DC power level or does it have limited duration?
Another concern would be the spacing…
