You can use any of the CC256xB device
CC256XQFNEM, TI module(CC2564MODN), LSR module( 450-0104B) and Panasonic(PAN1316B/PAN1326B)
CCS can not be used for this(A3DP) demo, The CCS compression is not as good as IAR, so the output binary size exceed…

On BT-MSPAUDSINK-RD you have a JTAG debugging port (J2) to which you can connect the MSP-FET430UIF directly and start flashing.
And for MSP430F5229LP you can directly connect it with a micro USB and flash it from your IDE.

As per my opinion, Yes Audio is grey area here. If your audio stream is of low frequency then it might be possible, but I guess low here means in terms of few hundred Hz.
