    The EVM (EValuation Module) allows you to physically test the device (with a signal generator and oscilloscope). It will not help with the simulation.

    The only parts that can handle 12V ar the CD4XXX versions. Here are shift register choices CD4015 4 stage CD4015B CD4014 8 stage CD4014B CD4006 18 stage CD4006B CD4021 8 stage CD4021B CD4034 8 stage CD4034B CD4035 4 stage CD4035B
