Hi Devitt,
Can you please get hold of EVM on ti.com and do the same compliance? This will give us an indication if there is any setup issue which is causing the failure. The EVM design is tested for compliance and we can use this as golden device.

Part Number: DP83848I Hi,
we have several questions for this device:
1. does it support both straight cable and crossover cable?
2. does the software driver of DP83848I compatible with RT-Thread operating system?
3. what's the difference between DP83848I…
Hello Adrian,
Thank you for reply.
I have an additional question.
I think DP83848 is confirmed compliance test with EVM by TI.
When they use EVM for compliance test, which EVM should they use?
DP83848I-POE-EK or DP83848K-MAU-EK?
Or each EVM are OK for…
Hi Etienne,
The cable lengths mentioned in the figure 5-7 is the maximum range tested, as long as the cable requirements meet the specs mentioned in the datasheet it should be able to correctly decode.
If you have different cables that you want to evaluate…
Hi Jeff,
The PFB part of the circuit looks good, assuming C116, C117, C118 are 0.1uF. I am also attaching the schematics of DP83848I-POE-EK for reference.
What voltage are you measuring near those pins 18,37, 23?

Hello,
My customer tested the 100 Base-TX, UTP Differential Output Voltage (+Vout/-Vout) with DP83848K-MAU-EK EVM.
But these results ware failed.

Hi Gerome,
thank you for suggested EVM. Unfortunately there are all out of stock at this moment. I need at least 3 pairs...
To add information I need following. It must be capable of etherCAT:
The PHYs have to comply with IEEE 802.3 100BaseTX or 100…

Hi Vilem,
My feedback is that you should consider decoupling for your supply rails. I'd suggest using the DP83848I-MAU EVM as a reference design and only removing items from that schematic you are sure you do not need.
You also have connections…
