Part Number: DP83867E Tool/software: Hi Team,
we are using the DP83867ERGZ Ethernet PHY. What is the recommended distance between this Ethernet PHY IC and the RJ45 magnetics?
Part Number: DP83867E Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM62A74 Tool/software: Does AN-1469 PHYTER Design & Layout Guide apply to DP83867E? In the app note it doesn't specifically call this part number out but I want to check.
If I cannot do transformerless…
Part Number: DP83867E Tool/software: We are using the DP83867E in combination with the Zynq Ultrascale+.
The interface we are using is SGMII, and there are no issues with normal communication.
However, when we apply static electricity, the link is…
Part Number: DP83867E Tool/software: I am bit confused about the VDDIO of DP83867E. Section 6.3 Recommended Operating Conditions says three options for VDDIO namely 3.3V option, 2.5V option and 1.8V option. Does it mean one of these options has to be…
Hi Chiehi,
I am not sure if my understanding is wrong for your measurement. PHY clock (XI pin) should be 25MHz instead of 625MHz.
Regarding to the SGMII measurement, the waveform is not too clean. May I ask where did you probe this measurement? Which…
Part Number: DP83867E Tool/software: Hi
I have three questions I need to clarify in designing a board using DP83867E. I plan to use the SGMII mode with 4-Wire Connections.
1) In this case I dont use pins TX_D2, TX_D3, GTX_CLK, RX_CLK, TX_CTRL In this…
Hi Adam,
Adam Daluga said: Meaning that currently we need to send via MDIO to change the PHYCR Force_link_good to 0 so that we can get the port to link up.
Can you help clarify this? Default value for force_link_good is 0 (normal operation) - are you…
Hi Rex,
I'm afraid I can't support any Xshell issues, from a PHY's perspective if ping is successful then everything is functioning. Maybe the TDA4VM team can assist with this.
