Hi Sayali,
The rule of thumb is that the frequency bandwidth of the sensor should be at least two, but ideally three times greater than the number of poles per second.
Poles per second = (RPM * number of poles) / 60
The sensing bandwidth of the DRV5011…
Part Number: DRV5011 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV5015 because of space restriction in my bldc motor design i have to put hall sensor upside down stator slots. Thus magnetic flux direction will reversed. is that gonna work for my application?
Part Number: DRV5011 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV5012 , DRV5032 , DRV425 I am running a sequence of 14 magnets (alternating N/S) past 3 identical DRV5011 sensors. They experience approximately +/-50 Gauss (5 mT).
I am getting a 45%-46% duty cycle…
Part Number: DRV5011 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV5055 Hi All
Have a customer who wants to detect a nickle brass jack. Can our sensor detect this material?
Thanks
Jeff
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV5015-Q1 , DRV5013-Q1 , DRV5013 , DRV5011 Hello Team,
Please suggest latch type hall sensor which withstand lower temperature rating upto -55C. Package is not concern yet. Below are details of hall sensor specificatio…
Part Number: TMAG5273 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV5013 , DRV5011 Hi
As I am using the magnetic sensor TMAG5273A1QDBVR for measuring the rpm of the motor and I was going through the datasheet and I was not able to find the bandwidth of the sensor…
Part Number: DRV5013 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV5011 I'm working on a small motor for an aerospace application. It will be installed in zone 4 (outside aircraft) and thus subject to DO-160 qualification for HIRF and indirect effects of lightning…
Part Number: DRV5013 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV5012 , DRV5011 Hi I'm looking at the DRV5013 Hall Sensor, if it detects a magnetic field the output switches from High to low. Does Texas do a similar hall sensor that when it detects a magnetic…
Hi Akil,
Just to make sure, are you trying to encode the speed of the motor , control the commutation of the motor , or are you using the device for some other application? For these applications, we typically see Hall latches like the DRV5011 , DRV5013 ,…
Thanks Bruce, I updated that portion of the code, but as you assumed, it did not change the results. The transistors are PN2222A. They are connected to the ground, which are then in turn connected to the sensors. The sensors are TI hall sensors: https…
