Dear David,
after reviewing the datasheet in all details and some work in the lab, I come to the conclusion, that this chip is not suitable to drive a big capacitive load. I will choose a different chip.
Thank you,
Simon
Part Number: DRV8874-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8874 Hello Team, one question from customer:
Is the charge pump active when OUT1 and OUT2 are tri-state (means in-acitvie) ?
Many Thanks

Part Number: DRV8874 Hi Team,
Using the current sampling inside the chip is not accurate. For example, when using en/ph mode, the actual current of the motor during movement is 60mA, while the current of the iPropi pin of the reading chip is 120mA. The…
Part Number: DRV8874 Hi Team,
The customer made the design with reference to the datasheet. The motor current decreasing slope is about 0.87A/ms. If it is necessary to reduce the slope to 0.15A/ms, is it feasible? How to modify the configuration?

Part Number: DRV8874 Dear TI experts,
My customer considers DRV8874 for their new product.
In the EVM, there is C1 capacitor, 100uF/50V aluminium capacitor.
Is it okay to change C1 to MLCC? If yes, what is the recommended value for C1?
Please check this…

Part Number: DRV8874 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8701 , Hi Team,
Q1: Customer used DRV8874. The actual current of the motor is only 60mA, but the read current is 120mA. May I ask what causes it? The same current read by DRV8701 is correct, AIPROPI…
