Hi Eric,
You are correct it was an error to say the pin could be grounded. DS92LV2412 and DS90UR906 use the IP but different ratings. You can also refer to the DS90UR906 data sheet.
Do you happen to have a logic analyzer? Perhaps you can take a look…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS92LV2412 My DS92LV2412 is on a pcb to which a flex circuit from my LCD is attached. When I test the output signals with the lcd detached all signals look normal (clk is 10.6MHz and LOCK is a steady High).
When I attach…
Hi John,
First of all, to answer your question, if straps were pulled high on a power up once this should not damage the device. In any case to make sure the problem you are seeing is not a general issue vs a board stuffing issue please confirm this…
Hi John,
Power design issues could be an issue, but pattern dependant issues usually point to signal integrity problems on the parrallel bus for these parts.
Can you probe the input signals on the serializer? Please check that the signals do not…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS92LV2412 , DS92LV2411 I need to test my DS92LV2412 circuit at my PCBA CM. I want to perform a simple test to ensure that the device is working. What i want to do is use my data acquisition hardware to drive the pins…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS92LV2412 , DS92LV2411 , AM3703 The issue I found was that the LOCK signal being asserted indicating a loss of clock recovery at the DS92LV2412 deserializer. This occurred with the pixel clock set to 10MHz. When I increase…

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS92LV2412 , DS92LV2411 Hi All,
I have a serdes pair consisting of a DS92LV2411 serializer and a DS92LV2412 deserializer. The below pic demonstrates the suggested electrical connections from TI. My questions has to…
