Part Number: ESD224 Hi team,
Is the IEC 61000-4-5 measured for the whole device (meaning all 4 I/O lines acting in parallel) or is the measurements sufficient for each individual I/O line?
I interpret the comment below as it is for each I/O pin. Please…
Part Number: ESD224 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPD4E02B04 Hi team
I found both ESD224 and TPD4E02B04 are good for the design, what's the major difference and the design concerns regarding those 2 devices?
Also, I noticed that ESD224 does not…
Part Number: ESD224 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPD4E05U06 Hi,
ESD224 is a bi-directional protection device, and TPDxE05U06 is a uni-directional protection device. In a 3.3V system, the uni-directional protection device can clamp the negative spike…
Part Number: ESD224 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ESD204 , STRIKE Hello team,
My customer asked if ESD224 is a suitable to protect LVDS for their Display. On speed I've not directly a concern however on the voltage levels.
The spec's of the Interface…
Part Number: ESD224 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPD4E05U06 We are going to use ESD224 in our HDMI interface schematic. According to datasheet, ESD224 is used in only TMDS pins of HDMI.
Can we use ESD224 for other pins (DDC_CLK, DDC_DATA, HPD & CEC…
Part Number: ESD224 Hi Team,
The block diagram shows resistors between connector side and system side, what's the purpose of these resistors? And what's the impact of shorting C pin and S pin together?
Regards,
Part Number: ESD224 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ESD204 Good morning,
I have a question about the ESD224 diodes. On our device they are connected in such a way that the system and connector sides are tied together. I am wondering if this is appropriate…
Part Number: ESD224 Hi,
Datasheet of ESD224 HDMI 2.0 Compliance and Protection used HDMI cable, but i did not find information about for this cable.
What is the specification (cable length, impedance etc.) of this cable?
Thanks.

Jun,
The ESD224 and ESD204 are two different devices. The ESD224EVM does not have flow through routing so there is no way to use the ESD204 of that EVM. Conversely you cannot use the ESD224 on the ESD204EVM because there is flow through routing on that…
