Hi Henry,
Yes ESD761-Q1 can be used to protect the same CAN transceiver. The ESD761-Q1 and ES1LIN24-Q1 are very similar in spec, the ESD761 just has slightly lower capacitance and IEC ESD/Surge ratings.
