    Answer Suggested
Part Number: EVM430-F67641 I have planned to used this product as an energy analyzer. I need to know can I read the data in RS-232 port using arduino or should I use PC to read the data.

Thanks for sharing that. That uses the MSP430F6779 rather than the MSP430F67641 which is on the EVM430-F67641(http://www.ti.com/tool/EVM430-F67641). Do they have the same design files? Rudi

Are there any recommendations for CTs for this dev board? I am aware of the similar post (see below) that discusses this for a similar EVM but wanted to see if there are differences between them as I haven't found anything in the documentation addressing…

Hi Manish, Not recommend to use two i2041 device to design three phase meter. Higher recommend to use MSP430F6779A or MSP430F67641A, please refer to our slide for meter E-meter_and_EMDC_Overview_TI.pdf

Part Number: MSP-ISO Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP-EXP430G2ET , , EVM430-F67641 , MSP430G2553 , ENERGIA Hi. I am using MSP-ISO isolation board with MSP-EXP430G2ET Launchpad to connect it to EVM430-F67641 through RS-232. Question: can isolation…

Hello, I'm assuming the EEPROM communication works correctly on the EVM430-F67641 board, correct? It sounds like your design isn't communicating with the external EEPROM. Perhaps the EEPROM is from a different manufacture, the address is different,…

Hi, Discussed with expert, this is just using the back-channel UART on a LaunchPad (not the target) to display the UART data coming from the EVM430-F67641. This would be no different if you used a RS232-to-USB serial adapter and a terminal. First, if…

Vijay, What program are you referring to? The EVM430-F67641/TIDM-THREEPHASEMETER-F67641 has several User's Guides and resources available based on the Energy Library to help you create and modify your implementation: www.ti.com/.../slaa621c.pdf …

If you've changed the constant to 1600 on your equipment (to match the default pulse rate in the EVM430-F67641's code) and you're still seeing around 10% accuracy on the first report, I don't consider this to be an issue. As you've observed, after the…
