Part Number: ISO1641 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO1640 Hi, we're trying the isolator ISO1641B to isolate I2C communication. Below is the schematic:
As the test circuit, both the master and slave devices are Arduino Uno operating at 5V.
We're…
Hi Andrew,
The issue has been resolved. It turns out that the BQ76942 does, indeed, drive the SCL signal low, to perform Clock Stretching. Since the ISO1641 has a unidirectional clock, the MCU was not able to support the clock stretching.
The solution is…
Part Number: ISO1641 Hello Team,
My customer found a confusing specification in our datasheet.
We have the following specification:
I f I see this correctly, then the threshold where we recognize high and low could possibly overlap, namely exactly when…
Part Number: ISO1640 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO1641
Hi expert,
Can Iso1640 be used as Iso1641? Only use one scl, and how to configure the another Scl? Thanks

Hi,
We are using INA237 with ISO1641 in our application. Both sides are operating at 3.3V. The side 2 of ISO1641 is connected to INA237 and this part is fine. However, the…
Part Number: ISO1641 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA237 , , ISO1640 , INA226 , TCA9517A , TCA9800 Hi Team,
We want to use I2C to output power telemetry data. But checked their H/L threshold voltage, INA237 consider 0 - 0.4 V as L. Will ISO1641 be able…
Part Number: ISO1641 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO1640 , Hi Team,
taking in consideration that ISO1640 and ISO1641 are pin-to-pin compatible, I would also like to understand if both packages could be compatible as well.
To understand that it's important…
Part Number: ISO1640 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO1641
Why are the maximum load capacitance and load current ratings for Side 1 of the ISO1640/ISO1641 less than Side 2?
Part Number: ISO1641 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO1640 , ISO1642 , ISO1643 , ISO1644 Team,
Assuming that you have an e xisting HW design/PCB for ISO1641(unidirectional, 2 ch) : -Can the ISO1640 be used a P2P drop-in for ISO1641? Or would a HW change…
